Director: Yoshiaki Nagumo, M.D., Ph.D.
Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon (Japanese Orthopaedic Association)Certified Sports Doctor (Japan Sports Association)
Accredited Regenerative Medicine Physician (Japanese Society for Regenerative Medicine)
Dr. Nagumo began his career as a specialist in musculoskeletal oncology at leading institutions in Japan.
He later moved to the United States, where he engaged in research on regenerative medicine.
During his time in the U.S., a personal sports injury inspired him to view medicine from the athlete's perspective. This experience made him acutely aware of the importance of practical sports medicine—specifically, providing athletes with clear answers to questions such as “What can I do right now?” and “What treatment options and timelines are available?”
In June 2023, he established NAG Orthopedic Clinic in Shirokanedai, Minato-ku, Tokyo, as a specialized center for orthopedic care.
